Level 1 Infrared Certification Training

Course instructor will be Jay Bowen of Bowen Infrared
Class will cover the following aspects of infrared inspection:

  • How to capture quality images
  • Learn measurement effects using infrared to acquire accurate temperatures
  • Learn camera operation and features
  • Understand images, interpret patterns and make informed decisions
  • Learn Infrared science concepts to analyze images
  • Avoid interpretation mistakes — patterning from true hot spots or reflections
  • When to apply qualitative vs. quantitative thermography
  • Learn report generation and software features
  • Apply knowledge with hands-on class time using realistic / extensive labs
